Auto Show follows the District of Columbia’s COVID protocols for the 2022 show


WASHINGTON, December 28, 2021 / PRNewswire / – As per guidelines announced by the mayor Muriel Bowser and the District of Columbia, that Washington, DC At the Auto Show, all show guests at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center must wear a mask and show proof of vaccination (including proof of first dose for children 12 years and older) upon entering the building. This announcement follows the new variant of COVID, where Omicron is gaining traction and threatening the health of our communities. Since the auto show team is in the middle of planning for its January 21st to 30th Returning to the capital of the country, pay close attention to city and federal demands to take the necessary proactive steps in response to this ongoing public health crisis.

“The health and safety of exhibitors, sponsors, visitors and trade fair staff is a top priority for our team,” said Washington, DC President and CEO of the Auto Show John O’Donnell. In addition to the mask requirement and proof of vaccination, the trade fair will take further comprehensive preventive measures during the trade fair days. This includes increased hygiene and hand washing stations as well as regular cleaning and disinfection of areas with high contact.
