Chris Christie criticizes the White House for “mixed signals,” a lack of leadership in the midst of the Omicron variant

The White House suggests that the public break their masks again upon the arrival of the Omicron variant, but former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie expressed his contempt for the mixed messages in America Reports.

Christie: I think that’s why we had such trouble getting people to get vaccinated because initially the promise was that you would get vaccinated and be able to get back to your normal life. And we all have signs that while there are some breakthrough cases, these cases are very, very, very mild for people who have been vaccinated. So now we got not just two, but a third vaccination, and now he’s telling them to mask again. This is completely inconsistent; mixed signals from the White House and lack of leadership. And the president runs away fearfully again, as he often did in his 10 months in office. And people are fed up with it …

What Americans don’t want is inconsistent leadership, and what they’re getting from Joe Biden is inconsistent leadership, depending on where you are politically. And that’s why I wrote the book. That is why we think it is so important that the Republican Party is a party that is open and has a vision for tomorrow, because we have to stop these Joe Biden policies.
